“ | Eh, what's up doc? | „ |
~ Bugs's iconic catchphrase |
Bugs Bunny is one of the two main protagonists (alongside Daffy Duck) of The Looney Tunes Show. He is a rabbit and Daffy Duck's best friend, who lives with him as his roommate, while the two live everyday adventures.
He was voiced by Jeff Bergman.
His Good Ranking[]
What Makes Him Close to Being Pure Good?[]
- He cares for Daffy as his best friend, and is a moral compass to him, guiding him whenever he goes too far or make something illegal, as well as correcting Daffy for doing outright stupid things. Making us side with Bugs as the voice of reason.
- Shows remorse for some of his most inconsistent moments in Season 1, meaning that he subverts any corrupting quality from there.
- Although he was lethal at start, he got over it and became more moralistic.
- Got the Tasmanian Devil back in where he lived to prevent him from hurting people.
- Corrected the bad future by going back in past and making Daffy pay for his ice cream.
- Got Daffy to apologize to everyone for falsely accusing them of stealing from him.
- He faked an injury so Daffy Duck would be able to win the Bowling Game.
- He sold his restaurant to Speedy Gonzales, as he helped make it into a success.
- Helped Porky to learn how to dance.
- Took care of an injured Lola Bunny despite her stupidity and insanity making Bugs annoyed and exasperated.
- Wanted to be friends with Granny who was apparently lonely.
- Saved a spider to give it to Gossamer, though he ended up delivering the wrong one.
- Got his old gloves in exchange of the new ones when he realizes that they make him act indifferently and jerkishly towards his friends.
- Saved Yosemite Sam from a fire, and faked an injury so Sam could "save" him, as he wanted to pay the debt back.
- Saved Christmas with Lola Bunny.
- Agreed in taking care of Gossamer, and later got him back to normal, along with Lola Bunny.
- Made so it appeared that he was the lazy one and not Daffy, to make he look better in Tina's father eyes.
- Made Daffy return everything he stole while sleepwalking.
- Helped Lola return the diamond bracelet, as she lied about the Balck Window to get away with it.
- Helped making Porky Pig become popular, and allowed him to do a carrot cake, and Daffy to be a part of the commercial.
- Got Daffy learn how to play the piano, so they could make Pizzariba more popular than Solivans.
- Helped Yosemite Sam with a stunt involving riding a bus over motorbikes, risking his life to do it, as his heart could get overloaded due to too much activity (though rabbits can have this heartbeat rating, meaning he is got away with it.)
- Was concerned about Taz, as he went missing.
- Felt bad for Daffy since he had to spend all of his money to buy his recliner all summer and even bought him a new recliner. He also knew that Cecil is doing something evil so he decided to stop Cecil and get him arrested.
- He also got revenge towards the villainous Cecil, and got him regretting his petty actions through the use of disguises, subterfuge, teleporting in any situation Cecil got himself into and with the *unintentional) help of the irresponsible Daffy to help get Cecil fired and humiliated for messing with Bugs.
- Pretended that it was Year of the Pig, when it actually was Year of the Rabbit, to make Porky happy. However, he began to regret this once he started becoming arrogant and believes that he should be the center of attention.
- Stopped Zod Duck and his army in the past as Superman.
- He is also currently Bat-Rabbit/Batman.
What Prevents Him From Being Pure Good?[]
- He has mischievous moments here and there, one good example of the bunch is the episode "Jailbird and Jailbunny"; where Bugs did some silly poses for his mugshot montage, and he relishes in briefly poking fun at other prisoners. It's not helping that Bugs outright admits that he loves being in prison if it means having fun with being a "smart aleck" and riling up other prisoners upon teasing and mocking them.
- He can be a jerk at times, as well as acting sarcastically and sometimes arrogantly, especially towards Daffy oftentimes in several episodes even though it's entirely warranted.
- He once tried to kill off Daffy one time by convincing him to stand on the ledge of a high rise building as a way to "fix his snoring" so Bugs could secretly push him off a building in the episode "Bugs & Daffy Get A Job". Thankfully, Bugs subverts this potentially corrupting moment since he doesn't go through with it despite his clear disappointment in not doing it.
Trivia[]
- This is one of the three versions of Bugs Bunny to be Near Pure Good, alongside the Space Jam and Back in Action versions.
