Blacksun Blight is one of the two deuteragonists (alongside Bessy) of Sonic and the Powerpuff Girls' prequel series, Courage the Cowardly Dog: The Old Stories of Brunette as well as one of the six overarching protagonists (alongside Sarah, Courage the Cowardly Dog, Bessy, Ron, and Firefly) of Sonic and the Powerpuff Girls, serving as one of the six overarching protagonists of the Meet the Legendary Brunette episode as well as one of the four tritagonists (alongside Bessy, Ron, and Firefly) of the two-part episode, The Return.

What Makes Her Close to Being Pure Good?[]
- Is the protector of both the City of Nowhere and Brittle Town, protecting those two cities from many dangerous threats.
- Saved the universe several times from Katz and Le Quack.
- Is very honorable and caring towards her friends and sisters as she is willing to help both the former and latter when needed to and is always willing to protect them from any danger.
- Stopped Le Quack from putting all of Nowhere in a fate worse than death as he attempts to freeze all of Nowhere for all eternity which is very painful.
- Despite the series' high AS where characters like Blossom who has saved the Multiverse as well as other characters like Buttercup who is responsible for saving all of existence which both Blossom and Sonic saved, they however have more resources since Blossom and Sonic has their hyper forms when saving the Multiverse and all of existence making it an unfair comparison since Blacksun used nothing but her base form.
- Despite her jerkish nature, she shows to care about her friends and sisters and while she is mostly a jerk to Baci, she does however treat her as a friend despite calling her an idiot most of the time.
What Prevents Her From Being Pure Good?[]
- Is jerkish as she enjoys taunting at her enemies, especially Le Quack, she also calls Baci an idiot most of the time, however this is a minor prevention since she shows to be very honorable and caring towards anyone.
- While she mostly has her rights to be angry, she is however a lethal berserker such as where she attempts to kill Bloom out of pure rage, though Bloom deserved it since Bloom was a master thief, however she reveals herself to be too violent against her as she would have used her spiked hammer against Bloom, making it too much to be considered a heating-up period.
- Takes sadistic pleasure in harming Le Quack all of the time, despite the latter deserving it for attempting to kill Blacksun multiple times, she still tends to repeatedly harm him even when defeated or when he's not doing villainy, however, this is a minor prevention since Le Quack in this case attempted omnicide multiple times as well as putting all of Nowhere and Brittle Town in a FWTD, so even if Blacksun continues harming him when he's not doing villainy, Le Quack is a very serious threat, thus it's not that bad of a prevention.

- She, Sonic the Hedgehog, Buttercup, Courage the Cowardly Dog, and Sarah are the only five characters from the series to be Near Pure Goods.
- Coincidentally she and Sarah are the only two Near Pure Goods from the series to be OCs and not official characters.
