Bruce Wayne, better known as Batman, is a vigilante and a member of the Justice League and one of the main protagonists of the DC Extended Universe.
He is portrayed by Ben Affleck who also voiced Joseph in Joseph: King of Dreams.

- He believes the meaning of life is to protect innocent people from harm and ensure that bad guys know their place.
- Overall, he largely subverts his lethality in the months following Superman's fall.

- He commits two decades of his life to protecting Gotham City from criminals and crime in a daily basis.
- He arrests Killer Croc.
- He takes Deadshot down, and abstains from harming him in front of his very young daughter until he is made to in an act of self-defense.

Man of Steel[]
- During Superman and Zod's fight in Metropolis, he helped Wallace Keefe who lost his legs in the destruction of Wayne Tower and saved a little girl from falling rubble before comforting her on her mother's death.
Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice[]
- Although he initially wants to kill Superman, it is only because he saw a harrowing vision of him being worshiped in an apocalyptic wasteland, and when he realizes he is no threat, he shows him mercy. Then he apologizes to Alfred Pennyworth for disregarding his wisdom regarding the situation.
- He saves Martha Kent by beating Lex Luthor's goons at a warehouse.
- He helps fight Doomsday.
- In an alternate timeline, he tries to smuggle Kryptonite to deal with an evil version of Superman, and despite being double-crossed, he still takes out several villainous soldiers before a Parademon ambushes him.
Suicide Squad[]
- He helps Amanda Waller as long as she gives him files that he needs, which she agrees to do.
Justice League[]
- He recruits Arthur and doesn't let his mean comments provoke him.
- He recruits Barry and is surprised when he is immediately eager to be a part of the Justice League.
- He resurrects Superman.
- He destroys the supernatural dome, and plays a crucial role in defeating Steppenwolf.
- He forms an alliance with the Martian Manhunter as he knows Darkseid isn't done with Earth yet.
- In an alternate timeline, he is the one who leads the opposition against Darkseid. He even lets Deathstroke and the Joker join him even though they're untrustworthy. And while he's willing to kill Superman, it's only because he's under the Anti-Life Equation.
The Flash[]
- He helps Barry stop some criminals and warns him about the dangers of time travel.
What Prevents Him From Being Pure Good?[]
- While he largely subverts his lethal tendencies in later installments, he's still very violent and brutal to criminals.
- He is antisocial. contentious and seemingly incapable of forming long-term relationships with anyone other than Alfred Pennyworth. He keeps even his closest allies (members of the Justice League) at arms-length. This has caused conflict between him and others on a few occasions.
Trivia[]
- So far, he, along with Ratcatcher II and Shazam, are currently the only DC Extended Universe heroes to be Near Pure Good.
- He, alongside his Injustice, Beyond, Gotham, and LEGO incarnations, are the only versions of Batman to be Near Pure Good.
