| “ | You may be afraid of you-don't-even-know-what, but I don't care. Be more afraid of me. Be more afraid of what's going to happen to that little girl if you don't do your job and find out where she is. Capisce? | „ |
| ~ Terry McGinnis |
| “ | I've known Bruce Wayne for over fifty years and I've been keeping an eye on you your whole. You're not Bruce's clone, your his son. There are similarities mind you, but more than a few differences too, you don't have quite have his magnificent brain for instance, you do have his heart though. And for all that fierce exterior I've never met anyone who cared as deeply about his fellow man as Bruce Wayne. Except maybe you. | „ |
| ~ Amanda Walker telling Terry McGinnis that he is truly Bruce's son. |
| “ | Bruce: You're a stubborn piece of work, you know that? Terry: Just like my old man. |
„ |

His Good Ranking[]
What Makes Him Close to Being Pure Good?[]
- Although he used to be a delinquent with a habit of stealing, he feels great remorse for this, and redeems himself once he becomes Batman, completely shedding this quality.
- Prior to becoming Batman, he defends a lady from being robbed by a Jokerz gang member, implying that even before becoming Batman he had a certain sense of justice and did some heroic deeds.
- Despite getting into an argument with his father, he still deeply cared for him, as he has a breakdown when he learns of his murder, expressing remorse for the last words he said to him and wishing he could have stayed with him to defend him from his murderers.
- Despite constantly having to abandon his girlfriend, Dana Tan and frequently ending up late for planned events with her because of his duties as Batman, Terry tries to keep their relationship steady since he genuinely cares about her, and always expresses displeasure at having to abandon her for his duties.
- Although he has killed some of the villains he fought, he only does this out of self-defense, and for the most part, tries to save the villains he fights.
- He protects Neo-Gotham from various villains and defeats them.
- He helped defend Bruce Wayne against the gang the Jokerz, when they threaten him.
- He helps Bruce back to his mansion and gives him his medication when he desperately needs it.
- He becomes the new Batman, and Bruce's successor, out of a genuine desire to help protect Gotham.
- Defeats Derek Powers' right-hand man, Mr. Fixx, avenging his father, who was murdered by him.
- Unlike Bruce, who has severe doubts, he is willing to give Mr. Freeze a chance to redeem himself and tries to save his life when he is about to die from falling debris. Freeze tells Terry in response that he's the only person (besides Nora) who has truly shown him compassion his whole life.
- Despite his hatred for Derek Powers, and seeking vengeance against him when he goes after Powers, he only wants to bring him to justice, and never intends to murder him, as shown by his horrified reaction when his son Paxton tries to kill him by trapping him in a radiation sucking net.
- He defends Gotham's district attorney, Sam Young, from an assassin named Curare when she tries to murder him.
- He takes down a gang of spliced thugs and their leader.
- He takes down a corrupt rehabilitation facility and its leader, David Wheeler, who is using the facility to psychologically torture teenagers, and potentially put them through fates worse than death.
- When one of the teenagers at the facility attempts to throw Wheeler off the roof to his death, Batman saves him, despite all of the horrific actions he had done at the facility.
- He rescues a psychic girl from an organization that abuses her to test her powers.
- He takes down a dog-fighting ring that mutates dogs to be used for illegal fighting.
- He stops a terrorist attack from Kobra.
- He foils Kobra's plan to revert the world back to the age of dinosaurs.

- He frees the Justice League from Starro's control.
- Ultimately comes to accept Bruce as his father after learning the truth about his birth.
What Prevents Him From Being Pure Good?[]
- He can be insulting to his foes, such as insulting the Joker for not being funny, though this is justified since the Joker has done many horrible things, and he does it pragmatically to defeat him, so this is simply a minor prevention.
- He initially steals Bruce's batsuit to get revenge on Mr. Fixx, the man who killed his father. However, when he finds out Terry's father was killed, and is using the suit to go after his killer, Bruce allows Terry to continue using the suit, so this is a minor prevention.
- He can be a bit arrogant and jerkish sometimes. He also has a sour relationship with his brother Matt, though the two are capable of getting along sometimes.
Trivia[]
- He is so far the only incarnation of Batman to be Near Pure Good who isn't a Bruce Wayne Batman.
- Terry being Near Pure Good makes him a reflection to his archenemy, Blight, who is Near Pure Evil.
