Aqua is one of the main protagonists of Kingdom Hearts: Birth by Sleep and a secondary character in many other installments in the series. She is one of the Keyblade wielders before Sora himself and a former student of Master Eraqus.
Her Good Ranking[]
What Makes Her Close to Being Pure Good?[]
- Staying by Ventus' side when she first met him after he been brought to the Land of Departure by Master Xehanort and had fallen unconscious after she and Terra had bombarded him with Myraid questions upon realizing he could still recall his own name in spite of his mainly unresponsive current state.
- Trying to stop Ventus when he left the Land of Departure (albeit unsuccessfully).
- Bringing an unconscious King Mickey to the Mysterious Tower upon discovering him drifting through space alone.
- Rescuing Ventus and bringing him back to the Land of Departure were she could properly protect him.
- Running herself ragged to reunite herself with Ventus and Terra after their separation.
- Willingly travelling to the Realm of Darkness in order to rescue Terra and tried to protect Ansem The Wise from Ansem (at the cost of her temporarily becoming Anti-Aqua).
- She felt great remorse for what she did as Anti-Aqua (despite this, it is good to consider that Aqua was brainwashed by Ansem and consequently the girl performed such actions against her will. ) and accepted her near-death experience to be consumed, but was granted a second chance by Sora after saving her life
- Forgiving Eraqus for the burden he placed on her when he emerges from Terra's heart to speak with her and the rest of the Wayfinder Trio one last time.
- Agreeing to help comfort Terra and Ventus after they return to the Land of Departure to grieve for Eraqus' death.
- Overall, she's one of the most compassionate and protective characters in the entire series, standing out from the rest of the cast by just how big her instinct to keep her allies safe truly is and the great lengths she's willing to go to in order to ensure their safety.
- In spite of Kingdom Hearts' high admirable standards, Aqua still manages to stand out as her actions are on par with that of the series' pure good heroes, Sora and Kairi.
What Prevents Her From Being Pure Good?[]
- She can be overprotective about Terra and Ventus, sometimes even treating them more like children. In fact, this played a large part in the team's temporary separation.
- Attempting to kill Lady Tremaine and her daughters before any of them actually committed any actions that could warrant her attacking them. This is a minor prevention however, as she had been taught by Eraqus all her life that all forms of darkness had to be eradicated in order to keep the innocents safe.
